We have a beta feature (automatic attribute capture) that has been rolled out to a subset of our customers. From February 14, 2017 5:24 PM to 12:41 PM February 15th, 2017 this beta feature stopped working, and did not collect any additional attributes excluding classes, IDs, and tags, when capturing event data. This affects all customers on the beta, and affects 0.6% of current event definitions in use. Event Definitions using CSS selectors and HTML tags were unaffected by this change.
This happened due to a mistake when rolling out this beta feature, automatic attribute collection, to all of our customers. We believe data collection and data integrity is of the utmost importance, and sincerely apologize for any issues this has caused. We are implementing additional tests to ensure this will not happen going forward.
